
Green Trade Initiative
Export Development Authority (EDA) has launched The Green Trade Initiative(GTI) from the Export Business Hub in 6th of October City, with the aim of enhancing the performance of export oriented Egyptian horticulture value chains with a focus on inclusiveness as sustainability.
It works on the strategic development of the Egyptian agriculture sector to increase exports from Egypt to European markets.
GTI focuses on eight horticulture products, namely: Tomato, Artichoke, Grapes, Lettuce, Bell-pepper, Strawberry, Green bean and Pomegranate.

Consolidating relationships and networks with national and international organizations for trade promotion
Promoting post-harvest technology transfer and equipment innovation
